Since independence the idea of climbing Mount Kenya has become a great adventure. Kisoi Musau raising the Kenyan flag on Lenana Peak was clear to Kenyans that climbing the second highest mountain in Africa was possible. Since then, Kenyans have taken upon themselves to hike Mt.Kenya and aim at getting to its three peaks; Batian, Nelion and Lenana. This mountain is 5,199 meters above the sea level with the highest peak being Batian. It is the best destination for adventure, sun busking on the peaks, experiencing the snow and most especially appreciating what nature has to offer.
