    1. Day 1 Arrival in Bali

Upon arrival in Bali, your guides will meet you at Denpasar International Airport to pick you up and transport you to Seminyak. You can spend your time in Seminyak enjoying the beautiful sunsets, eating in trendy restaurants or relaxing in your villa by the pool.

    2. Day 2 Bambu Bali Cooking Class

Today, you’ll be accompanied by a guide to a Bumbu Bali cooking class. Since 1997, Bumbu Bali has been a culinary institution. The day begins with a visit to the local market to get the freshest ingredients. Although it is a slow start, you will see the vibrant village market in the early morning. You’ll find a wide range of spices and vegetables here. The famous fish market Kedonganan is located at the northern end of Jimbaran Bay. Every morning, the catch is brought in at dawn. This is where you might meet some of Bali’s top chefs. You will then drive to Cape Benoa, where you can enjoy a healthy breakfast with Balinese fruits and a Balinese cake.

After breakfast, you’ll spend four hours entertaining in a Balinese kitchen, learning how to make delicious, authentic local dishes. You’ll be able to taste the dishes that you helped prepare at the celebration lunch.

    3. Day 3 Pura Luhur Batukau

Transfer to Ubud via Jatiluwih or Batukaru Temple in the morning. As you drive north, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of rice terraces as well as peaceful villages. Pura Luhur Batukau, Bali’s second-highest peak, is a temple complex dating back to the 12th century. It is one of the nine ”cardinal” temples built to protect Bali against evil spirits. This sacred spot is very important for the Hindu population. The Jatiluwih valley, one of the best examples of terraced agriculture anywhere in the world, will be next. Jatiluwih’s landscape is a masterpiece that many generations of farmers have meticulously created over 500 years. This intricate infrastructure includes canals, dams, and aqueducts to irrigate their rice fields efficiently.

    4. Day 4 Carangsari Village/Ayung River

The tour will take you to Ubud’s Ayung River, Carangsari Village, and Ayung River. Ubud is a beautiful and relaxing destination in Bali. It boasts lush greenery and rice terraces that stretch along the banks of the Ayung River. You will also find the island’s most sacred holy sites, temples, and artisan workshops. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and spend time exploring Bali’s culture.

You will then drive to Carangsari village. This district is home to various vegetables, coffee beans, vanilla, corn, and many other crops. Visit the Balinese home to see the charming village and get ready for your cycling adventure.

The tour covers approximately 25 km on flat roads through villages and along paths through rice paddies. Sangeh village is the final stop on this tour, known for its monkey forest. This forest is home to giant nutmeg trees. Balinese monkeys are said to be sacred and will approach anyone who pays respects to the temple. In the middle of the forest is also the Pura Bukit Sari Temple. Then, you will take a short trip to enjoy a delicious Indonesian lunch.

After being met at the hotel, you will drive to Penelokan Village. There you can stop for coffee and cake as you take in stunning views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. The trek will take you approximately 1.5 hours to reach the Mount Batur rim, where your chef will begin to prepare the food. Enjoy the spectacular sunset from the summit and, when it gets dark, a bottle of local wine will be open. As you gaze out at Mount Batur, the most accessible and dramatic live volcano on Earth, a three-course dinner follows.

    5. Day 5 Beach Tour/Sailing/Trekking

Transfer by flight to Padang harbour in the morning, and then Lombok via speedboat. You can relax on the white sand beaches or go sailing around the Gilli Islands. Or, you could trek the foothills of Mount Rinjani. It’s up to you how much or little you want to do.

Today, you’ll travel by private boat to the Gili Islands. These three islands, known as the ”paradise islands”, are located off Indonesia’s northwest coast and are perfect for snorkelling and diving. There are no motorized vehicles allowed on the islands. The most popular ways to travel around the islands is by bicycle or the traditional Cidomo, a small horse-drawn cart. It would be best if you started by heading to Gili Trawangan. This is the most popular and largest island. Here you will find a relaxed, backpacker-friendly atmosphere with many beach restaurants. You can also choose to stay on the other islands, which are quieter and more isolated.

    6. Day 6 Exploring Java

Fly from Lombok via Denpasar Airport to Yogyakarta in the early morning. You can spend the day exploring this tranquil area of Java, including the Borobudur Temple. It is especially impressive at sunrise. The surrounding villages and countryside will also be available for you to explore.

You will find Candi Rejo village just a short drive away. From there, you can start hiking to Menoreh Hill. The hike to the top takes about an hour. Once there, you’ll be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the Borobudur temple, which is surrounded by four mountains, Sundoro-Sumbing, and Merbabu-Merapi. Return to Candi Rejo village to enjoy coffee and cake in a local home.

If you have spare time, the Jathilan Trance Dance is one of central Java’s most dramatic and eye-catching dances. The dancer is attached to a bamboo horse flat and dances until wild spirits enchant him.

    7. Day 7 Departure

Your tour is over. For your international return flight, a flight transfer will be arranged between Yogyakarta Airport and Denpasar Airport.
